For the truly adventurous backcountry enthusiast, there is snow camping.  A lot of preparation goes into it, but we have gone a weekend without crossing anyone’s track.    The sleds are very helpful when it comes to bringing and extra layer.  Most of the time we load 2-3 people per sled for overnight expeditions.  The weight and space of the gear makes up for the extra person.

Snowmobiling and snowboarding have a lot in common.  Nobody ever complains when it is their turn to drive.  In fact most of the time volunteers are standing by. Snowmobiles carve nicely and you get plenty of FACESHOTS on a good day.  Sleds like the Ski-Doo Summits are made for mountain riding, a little more narrow in the front for sidehilling and a big paddle track to push you through the snow.

Our snowmobile exploits, video and photo shoots will become a regular feature on Faceshot.  We will be getting to the best locations around Colorado and the western USA.  Keep an eye out for us, and stop back to check on the latest action.

If you want more info on snowmobiles and snowboarding, email us or check out Ski-Doo or our favorite dealer here in Denver, Excel Motorsports - be sure and tell ‘em we sent ya!
