Every thanksgiving, families and friends, including our group of die hard enthusiasts, make a pilgrimage to Wolf Creek Resort.  This tradition is a trip that is talked about and reminisced about throughout the entire year.  Last years trip was one of the most memorable.  It definitely had its share of kodak moments.  As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by a storm.  This is pretty typical for our Thanksgiving weekend at Wolf Creek.

I often think back on that first evening, sitting in the local hot springs, watching the cornflake sized snow settle to the ground around us.  Each of us knowing that the sacred mountain was being blessed by another blanket of fresh snow.  I remember getting up early on Thanksgiving day, catching the first chair and charging Wolf Creek's memorable powder for the entire morning.

First tracks were enjoyed by everyone in our party.  This is definitely one of my favorite ways to work up a healthy appetite.  Wolf Creek won't let you down here either.  For lunch we 'ALWAYS' grab a steamy bowl of Wolf Creek's world renowned green chile soup and a hearty 'Wolf' burger.  This is usually followed by a mad dash to the chair lift after hearing the 'Waterfall Area is now Open..'.
