Some of the worldís best snowboarders took to it in the halfpipe this
week. A $10,000 grand prize for both the Men and Women brought about some
strong finishes. In the end it was Michael Michaelchuck who went back to Canada
a happy man. How aboot that ehí? His 900 Haakonflip was the most beautiful
display of technical mastery I have ever seen. Steamboat Springs Local, Shannon
Dunn, showed what it was all about after going bigger and smoother than just
about anybody there. With the millenium approaching I will be watching to
see who is riding like itís 1999. Believe me, you should be too.
